Personal Recommendation: Always get a 1/2" drill
rather than a 3/8" drill. I have a Makita drill nearly identical
to the one below that has held up for about 20 years. For drilling
in concrete, a hammer drill is needed - it has an optional up and down
motion to help dig into the concrete. The hammer drill can be used
without the hammer action so it is really a more versatile tool.
